Defibrillator Installed at Argyle
We recently had a defibrillator installed in the Argyle Pavilion thanks to a lot of hard work in 2017.
It is ready for emergency use from Round 3, 2018.
It’s location is in the social room next to the red canteen door.
Members of the club were trained by St Johns Ambulance in its correct use and they can be called upon if ever required. It can be administered to any member 25kg an above.
The DRSABCD Action Plan as seen in the visual should be referred to for effective CPR and defibrillator use.
The machine is incredible. It can take you through the CPR process, detect irregular rhythms and administer a shock if required. It is amazing.
The club really recommends its members complete a CPR Course.
Monash City Committee working hard to keep its members safe.
